Veteran Hotelier Hawwa Fareesha Appointed as Hotel Manager at Hulhule Island Hotel

Hulhule Island Hotel has announced the appointment of Hawwa Fareesha as the new Hotel Manager, bringing with her over 15 years of diverse experience in hospitality operations, leadership, and guest services across luxury properties in the Maldives.

Fareesha’s impressive career journey in the industry began as a Restaurant Hostess at Banyan Tree Maldives Vabbinfaru and a Receptionist at Ifuru Island Resort. She quickly climbed the ranks, taking on key positions in food and beverage management, including a pivotal role in the pre-opening of Le Méridien Maldives Resort & Spa at Kihaadhuffaru, where she served as the Assistant Manager for Food and Beverage, contributing to SOP development and staff training.

Her extensive background includes leadership positions at world-renowned resorts such as Soneva Fushi and Six Senses Spa, where she was responsible for managing large teams, ensuring service excellence across multiple outlets, and nurturing talent through structured training programs. Fareesha later expanded her scope into human resources and general management, holding executive positions at various hotels across the Maldives.
