Singapore, May 2025 – The St Regis Singapore, a renowned icon of luxury hospitality, has announced an extensive multi-phase refurbishment set to redefine the guest experience at the iconic property. Inspired by the nearby UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Singapore Botanic Gardens, the redesign will incorporate captivating botanical motifs, natural textures, and soothing tones that seamlessly align with the hotel’s established aesthetic and service standards.
By the fourth quarter of 2025, all 299 guestrooms and suites will be transformed, featuring design elements that evoke the surrounding lush landscape. Furnishings will include crystal-cut glass lamps, while eco-friendly features such as motion-activated LED lighting and on-tap potable water will be introduced, elevating both the ambiance and sustainability of the accommodations.
The hotel’s highly anticipated Tea Room, scheduled to launch in June 2025, will offer a tranquil setting with interiors inspired by the beauty of a summer garden, featuring soothing shades of ivory, teal, and blush pink. Guests will be able to indulge in the new St Regis Afternoon Tea experience, complemented by a selection of salads, sandwiches, pastries, and desserts at the adjacent Patisserie.
The iconic John Jacob Ballroom is also undergoing a transformation, with design elements that reference 19th-century European orangeries, including skylights and mirrored accents that will create a dynamic ambiance from day to night. The ballroom will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including two LED video walls, advanced lighting, and audio systems, making it an exceptional venue for distinguished events and meetings.
