Singapore and Tokyo, Japan – Sabre Hospitality, a leading global distribution and technology provider, has signed a new agreement with the growing Japanese hospitality brand Minacia Co., Ltd. This strategic partnership will strengthen Sabre Hospitality’s presence in the Japanese market while enabling Minacia to showcase its unique properties and offerings to a vast network of travel agents and their customers worldwide.
Under the agreement, Minacia will list its 38 hotels, including the renowned Hotel Wing International brand and Tenza Hotels, on Sabre’s global travel marketplace and connect to Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) through Sabre Hospitality’s Channel Connect. This will make Minacia’s properties easily bookable by travelers around the globe.
“Since opening our first Hotel Wing in 1990, we have been expanding our hotel and restaurant business nationwide, evolving our unique concept of a synergy between food and lodging,” said Mr. Kaz Shimojima, CEO of Minacia. “The origin of the word Minacia is the phrase ‘everyone happy,’ so we’re excited to be able to bring our unique hospitality concept to a wider global audience through Sabre Hospitality, giving us the opportunity to welcome more guests from around the world.“
This partnership is part of Sabre Hospitality’s ongoing efforts to support the growth of hospitality brands in Japan and across the world. The company’s reservation and distribution technology, including its Global Distribution System (GDS) and Channel Connect solutions, have attracted a growing number of hospitality providers seeking to expand their customer reach and provide seamless booking experiences.
“We’re proud to support Minacia’s growth strategy,” said Frank Trampert, Senior Vice President, Global Managing Director of Community Sales at Sabre Hospitality. “By choosing our GDS and Channel Connect solutions, Minacia is well-positioned to reach new customers and offer seamless booking experiences to travel agents and travelers globally.“
