Excitement is building as participants prepare for the highly anticipated Dhiraagu Fuvahmulah Run 2025 (DFR), the special edition of the country’s most popular running event, the Dhiraagu Maldives Road Race (DMRR). Dhiraagu, the leading telecommunications provider in the Maldives, has announced the official distribution of bibs and race kits across two key locations: Male’ and Fuvahmulah City.
The bib collection in Male’ will take place at the DFR Bib Expo Centre, located on the first floor of Dhiraagu Head Office on Ameenee Magu, from 20 to 21 April. Participants can collect their kits on the 20th between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM, and again from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM. On the following day, the centre will be open from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
For those in Fuvahmulah City, the Bib Expo will be held from 30 April to 1 May 2025 at the City Council Office in Kurundhuma Maalam. Participants there will also have three time slots each day: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Each race kit includes a bib embedded with a timing chip, a race t-shirt, a string bag, and four safety pins. Participants must present either their national ID card or a photo of it at the time of collection for verification.
The Dhiraagu Fuvahmulah Run 2025 is set to take place on Friday, 2 May 2025, in the picturesque Fuvahmulah City, known for its stunning natural beauty and vibrant culture.
