A champion of nature-inspired gastronomy, Chef Theodor Falser will grace the shores of JOALI Maldives from March 1-5, 2025. Guests can savor his expertly crafted dishes at Bellinis, such as Tagliolini with Black Truffle, Butter-Poached Lobster with Caviar, and Braised Veal Cheek with Berry Sauce. During his residency, Chef Falser will also present an exclusive wine-paired set menu dinner, highlighting the alpine herbs and seasonal mountain ingredients of South Tyrol.

Master of Kyoto Cuisine, Chef Takagi Kazuo Brings the Essence of Nikkei to JOALI

Celebrated for his meticulous artistry and deep respect for seasonal harmony, Chef Takagi Kazuo will take over JOALI’s signature overwater restaurant, Saoke, from March 14-21, 2025. Blending the delicate refinement of Japanese haute cuisine with the bold, vibrant flavors of Peruvian cuisine, Chef Takagi will present his interpretation of Nikkei cuisine through an exclusive wine-paired set menu. Highlights include Sumiyaki Charcoal Grilled Black Cod and Yuzu Beef Roll.

MasterChef Winner Chef Alex Webb Returns to JOALI with Refined British Flair

Innovative and deeply rooted in British flavors, Chef Alex Webb will delight guests at JOALI Maldives from April 17-23, 2025. Showcasing his signature creativity, he will present dishes such as Fire-Roasted Scallops with Foie Gras and Wagyu Beef MB9 Fillet at Bellinis, and Smoked Tiger Prawn Tartare and Alex’s Signature Lobster Dog Tail at Saoke. Each course will be thoughtfully paired with premium wines, offering a curated journey through distinguished old-world vintages and exceptional labels.

JOALI Maldives will also host an exclusive Champagne Devaux Dinner on March 1, 2025, inviting guests to indulge in a curated five-course contemporary Italian menu, designed to complement the refined cuvées of Champagne Devaux.
