Club Med Kani in the Maldives has now lowered its age limit for young guests to six months, making it an ideal destination for families with tiny tots. This new welcome comes with additional facilities and amenities to ensure that parents and caregivers can relax and enjoy their holiday with ease.
Supporting Facilities and Amenities:
Guests can now enjoy several supporting facilities and amenities, including a baby corner at The Velhi buffet restaurant. The baby corner features organic purees from popular brand, Hipp, fresh milk, and a microwave machine for parents’ use. Furthermore, a dedicated toddler playground has been added to the resort’s kids club, providing a safe and engaging space for little ones to play.
The resort has also introduced a range of activities that cater to families with young children. These activities include family paddle boats with slides at the back, and a multi-purpose basketball court and full soccer pitch. The extensive on-site programmes offer parents and caregivers peace of mind, as activities are conducted under one roof and according to Club Med’s high safety standards.
Future Plans:
By 2025, Club Med Kani plans to launch a new family space where various activities can be enjoyed by children along with their parents and caregivers. This new area will further enhance the resort’s commitment to providing a seamless and enjoyable holiday experience for families with young children.
“These are all complimentary, and we’ve made these arrangements to ensure the holiday here is seamless for families with very young children,” said Rachael Harding, CEO of East, South Asia and Pacific at Club Med.
Club Med’s Family-Friendly Focus:
Club Med’s family-friendly focus is exemplified by carefully curated children’s programmes at its family resorts around the world. These programmes are designed to not only offer entertainment, but also educational opportunities, and activities vary according to age groups.
“I know that we all love putting our kids in the kids club, but equally important when you’re on holiday is to be able to enjoy time with your children,” said Harding. “We understand that it can be a challenge for parents and caregivers to find something to occupy little ones all day. We run such programmes throughout the day, be it games, competitions or workshops,” she added.
