Nilsson’s appointment is a significant move for COMO, as he takes on the responsibility of overseeing two of the company’s flagship properties in the Maldives: COMO Cocoa Island and COMO Maalifushi. A Seasoned Professional

Nilsson, a Swedish hotelier with a proven track record in luxury hospitality, is an affable and experienced leader who is no stranger to the Maldives. With over 30 years of experience in managing luxury hotels and resorts across Asia, the Indian Ocean, and the Pacific, he has worked with notable brands such as Ritz-Carlton, Soneva, Six Senses, Conrad, and Anantara.

Prior to joining COMO, Nilsson served as Chief Executive at Banwa Private Island, an exclusive estate in Palawan, Philippines. His exceptional leadership skills and commitment to excellence make him an ideal fit for COMO’s properties in the Maldives.
