Elevated Dining Experience and Upgraded Amenities Elevate the Passenger Journey
In a move to enhance the travel experience for its customers, British Airways has unveiled its newly refreshed lounge at Changi Airport’s Terminal 1. The revamped space now features a dedicated Concorde Dining area exclusively for eligible passengers, as well as upgraded office spaces with ample work areas and power outlets.
The lounge, which can accommodate up to 226 guests, is accessible to customers travelling in First and Club World (business class), as well as eligible loyalty program members. The refreshed design seamlessly blends British Airways’ rich heritage with the dynamic culture of Singapore, showcasing bespoke British-made furniture and curated artwork throughout the space.
Elevated Dining and Beverage Offerings
The highlight of the revamped lounge is the new Concorde Dining area, formerly known as The Bar. This exclusive space has been transformed with luxurious fabrics and ambient lighting, offering attentive table service for an elevated dining experience. The reimagined menu features both British favorites, such as herb-crusted beef tenderloin and sticky toffee pudding, as well as locally inspired dishes like cashew satay chicken and Lion Mane mushroom curry. Guests can also indulge in an expanded beverage selection, including the addition of three premium Champagnes from Joesph Perrier and Bollinger.
Part of British Airways’ Wider Transformation Program
The refreshed Singapore lounge is part of British Airways’ wider seven billion pound (US$8.7 billion) transformation program, which includes the introduction of brand-new cabin interiors, recently refreshed lounges in London, Washington and Lagos, and a new website and app. Further lounge refreshes, such as the one in Seattle, are scheduled to take place later this year.
